Aggie Lala. Patio & Pergola. February 14th , 2017.
We are rolling into summer and the temperature is rising. November is a very pleasant month in Brisbane, with daily temperatures in the mid-20s and the nights not too hot and sticky. It is around this time that many Aussies start looking at their patios with a view to planning some outdoor parties.
Patios are generally designed to catch the sun. Not necessarily, in warmer areas, the heat of the midday sun, but enough sun to give you that good sense of relaxation and well being that we get when exposed to lots of vitamin D.
Since pergolas have self-assembly instructions they come in the form of kits. Also known as sun trellises, pergolas have many practical and social uses. Pergolas either have arched or flattened or crescent shaped styles of roofing. There are pergolas available with detachable latticeworkb roofs. Building materials for pergolas determine the cost of the pergola. Aluminium, fibreglass, plastic, vinyl, timber, cedar are widely used to build pergolas.
When you close your eyes and visualize you and your guests enjoying the nice weather and maybe a drink or three, you're probably envisioning a patio that takes advantage of everything your backyard has to offer.
